As well as at information gathering, we will make decisions one of two ways:
- Quite probably that you belong to those who prefers to make decisions logically, impartially and analytically, being guided thus by objective reasons. Such people are inclined not to show the personal predilections in decisions; they prefer, that always when it is possible, it was possible to be guided by consequences made. Representatives of this group aspire to justice and clearness; them also name the sane. In terms it these people on the style to make decisions are called as logicians (this preference is designated by the letter «T»).
- Others in decision-making are guided by requirements of interpersonal relations, leaning against values of the subjective plan. Describing this group, it is necessary to recollect such words, as "harmony", "mercy", "geniality". Definitively to dare at this or that action, it is important to representative of this group to take into consideration how its decision will respond on associates. It has a propensity to identify with others and to feel a pain from their emotional traumas. It is a little annoyingly that for the description of decision-making process of Ship's boys has chosen concepts of "logician" (which usually co-ordinates with intelligence) and "ethics" (which concerns morals area). The sense of names of each of these preferences not all happens up to the end is clear. It is important not to forget that logicians too are able to feel, and ethics — to think. Both these of type can possess equally both an emotionality, and logic. We only wish to show that each of them prefers this or that style of decision-making. If to speak about lacks of these types the logician can think that at ethics in a head the chaos, and at ethics, in turn, can arise sensation that at the logician a heart of stone. If to speak about advantages logicians are capable to be objective every time when it is necessary to dare at something, and ethics realise how this decision finally will affect on associates.
