The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identitfy and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice presentation that allows for ease in comprehensionIt used to be, you had 3 to 5 icons on your cell phone to tell you everything that's occuring with your cellular world. Today there is plenitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there's a call on hold, new voicemail or new e-mail message. You'll know if there's a problem with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if info is syncing or if a song is playing on your telephone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identify and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice show that allows for ease in comprehension. The Droid wants this level of icons as it does so much. It even has a plane mode where wireless services are mechanically set to off. All of these icons are show in the standing bar on the apex of the Droid. Of course, you get the usual icons, but there also are icons for outstanding Notifications and Messages. This indicates that all of the calls, texts and new e-mails are all shown in this section. They're going to be there until you look after them. This is superb for when you are away from your cell telephone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it does give you plenty of icons and a green blinking light that may activate the status bar so you can look after any pending actions that are shown by the assorted icon notices. All that you need to do then is activate your Droid and touch the explicit icon that corresponds to an action. You can then sort it. For as cool as the Droid is, occasionally it must be rebooted. You can tell when this is happening when the translucent wheel icon starts spinning non-stop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are different types icons for diverse services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easy to read and pretty clear cut. ![]()
