The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identitfy and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice show that allows for ease in understandingIt used to be, you had three to 5 icons on your mobile phone to tell you everything that's occuring with your cellular world. These days there is amplitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there is a call on hold, new voicemail or new e-mail message. You will know if there's an issue with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if information is syncing or if a song is playing on your telephone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identify and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a relatively nice show that allows for ease in understanding. The Droid wants this level of icons as it does so much. It has got a plane mode where wireless services are automatically set to off. All these icons are show in the standing bar on the pinnacle of the Droid. Of course, you get the usual icons, but there also are icons for outstanding Notifications and Messages. This suggests that all of the calls, texts and new emails are all shown in this section. They'll be there till you look after them. This is superb for when you're away from your cell telephone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it does give you masses of icons and a green blinking light that will turn on the status bar so that you can take care of any pending actions that are shown by the assorted icon notices. All you need to do then is turn on your Droid and touch the specific icon that measures up to an action. You can then sort it. For as cool as the Droid is, often it must be rebooted. You can tell when this is occurring when the see-through wheel icon starts spinning non-stop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are different types icons for varied services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easy to read and pretty clear cut. ![]()
