But here you have spent some evenings, persistently working over the composition of verses, and recognised that the poetry is not combined with your person, anyway, now. Forget about verses and find more real purpose. That at first sight looks defeat, actually bears in itself the constructive beginning: you have started to build the bridge to that, finally, really wish to make.
