How to get to Nepal
To go there is not easy. Best time - spring and autumn, when not much rain in Nepal seeking crowds, and all planes crammed in advance. So, do not get to direct planes Moscow-Frankfurt-Kathmandu or Kathmandu. We got the plane Bangladesh Airlines Biman "through Dhaka. Huge cattle for 500 passengers, flying to Dhaka, was beaten only by tourists, transplanted in Kathmandu. In the plane we read the Muslim prayer, and were treated to tea, without adding a cup to the top. Nadya long outraged, why did they not fill the cups completely, until you remember that well accepted in all Muslim countries, and we ourselves in Tajikistan (and often at home) so we drank tea. In Dhaka, we did not let out of the airport building, fed dinner, and the whole crowd was sent to Kathmandu. Outside Dhaka - dead air, a strong humidity and stifling heat, and only in the airport kondishn and can breathe normally.At this time German television constantly showed the terrible flood. We saw the plane flooded fields, roads and houses, villages have turned into isolated islands. Local newspapers almost never discussed the accident. On the second page was a small notice in the three lines that due to floods, Prime Minister Madam Zia is going to convene some sort of commission.
In Kathmandu, immediately upon leaving the airport we saw a crowd of people offering us book a hotel. We were approached by a young guy and offered to take in a cheap hotel, and we immediately agreed. For ten dollars (this is a lot) we had a room with bath and shower, the hotel was all in marble with carpets, and stood guard at the entrance and gave us the honor.
Changing ticket and staying for a few days was impossible.
On the way back (three weeks) our Bangladeshi plane landed also in the Emirates. We managed to walk a bit in a beautiful marble Dubai airport, where we checked dressed in a turban police, and police ladies wore veils.
Russian group that we met in Kathmandu, via Delhi and traveled on trains in India. In their reviews, first-class carriage like a van, in which during the war were taken prisoners, and in second-class carriage just could not go out of mud and excrement. On the train chronically no tickets, they always overpacked. Arriving in Nepal, they felt calm and bliss after the Indian rail chaos and crowds of beggars, hanging on you and pulled his pockets.
Our trip was relatively easy. Some days we examined Kathmandu and numerous neighborhood. We then flew to the mountains and carried a ten walk around Everest. Then we returned to Kathmandu and lived for five days in a Buddhist center Bodhnat, where we were able to take part in a training seminar, which led Chokee Lama Nyima Rimpoche. Since we could not postpone a launch, we went back a few days before the end of the seminar.
