Descent has appeared much more difficult, than lifting. However those who has made this road, have taken care of convenience of travellers: on pass the stone pool where fresh water constantly flowed has been made.I have rushed to pool, have fallen before it to knees, have shipped hands on an elbow in cold as ice a liquid which calmed a pain in the burnt hands.
I could not oppose to a temptation. I have removed a sword and have put its number, then have thrown off a chain armour and a shirt and have washed up their damp sand from pool. Then began to wash off carefully from the person and a body all traces of recent fight. The burnt places on a skin burnt with fire. I have again smeared with their ointment of Zabiny - I was to be believed that it will help. On a hand I still had huge red scar in that place where poisonous blood has got.
At last, having got rid of a fetid dirt, I managed to eat a little. I sat, having crossed feet, at pool, ate and examined that lies before me.

This huge job of builders of road has amazed me. I knew, what difficulties it is necessary to clear the way even on plain between possession of the next lords. For this purpose many people were required, and even greatest of our clans seldom ventured such grandiose enterprise. And here stone blocks have been laid out directly in a rock. I was amazed with art of builders. How much time was required on it, and what powerful governor had so much people in submission to dare at such titanic work?
The road conducted directly in a grove. Have published to me it seemed only big green stain. I sat and reflected, whether it is necessary to me to go further, or it is better to remain here for the night? Whether not too I am close from an ominous cave, whence winged monsters can attack me? Can go is better to me on road and reach trees? And can in these trees other danger is concealed for me?
