Boundary of nine-year ageRecently I talked to Dagom and Hezer, a married couple, members of a board of guardians of one of it schools on Alaska. They recommended to me to familiarise with Rudolf Shtejnera's creative heritage. They the first have told to me about its theories and the jobs devoted to a subject of "a boundary of nine-year ageit. When I have understood, in what an essence of its theory of the training, some new fragments of a puzzle have risen on the places.
Having listened to the story of Daga about to what learn their child at school and why learn to it, I have started to understand, in what sense of a technique of Shtejnera. As has explained me Dag, training children in ability to build tents by means of a saw, a hammer and nails, the school brings up in them confidence that they will manage to survive in the real world. With the same purpose them learn to work in a garden, to grow up vegetables and to prepare. Such training combines physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual factors. Educational process completely grasps the child who is at a critical stage of development, which Shtejner names a boundary of nine-year age. It is such period when the child any more does not wish to identify itself with the person of the parents and aspires to find itself as the independent person. It is the loneliness and fear period. The uncertainty period. The child enters in unknown to learn, whom it is actually, instead of the one whom his parents wish to make. Education of intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual confidence of the ability to survive without assistance has the vital value for development of a children's self-estimation.
Now I know that many teachers do not agree with theoretical workings out of Shtejnera, but not to me them to overpersuade. The only thing about what I can speak with confidence, is my private experience. I remember that at the age of nine years has started to search for myself for something other. I have realised that all efforts of mine of mum and the daddy do not bring result, and did not wish to follow their example. Till now I remember the sensation of fear appearing in the house each time when speech came about money. I remember, how mum at the daddy swore because of money and as the daddy spoke: itMoney me does not interest. I stick very much. I do not know that else I can makeit.
