But if to read both books the plot of "Mobi Dika" turns pale in comparison with the realistic story about that, what's happened with the command of "Essex" after that has sunk. As a matter of fact, on an attack of a whale the history itMobi Dikait comes to an end, while the history of "Essex" begins with an attack of a whale.When "Essex" has started to sink slowly, members of team, about twenty persons, have changed three whaleboats. After from "Essex" on whaleboats have overloaded provisions, the captain and the command had to decide what to do further. One of variants which they discussed, it was simple to lift sails and to allow a wind to deliver them to Tahiti. Easy travel which, but to their estimations, would occupy about a week.
