At the seminar we have acquainted participants with a series of the exercises developed that they were able to see the individual distinctions better. For example, we have divided group on it and intuitionalists, having asked those and others within twenty seconds to consider the same slide that then to make the collective report that they have seen. (For drawing up of these "reports" from them it was required to write markers on the big sheet of paper which all group then could consider and discuss.)Distinctions between them have appeared so obvious, what is it became the reason of the amazed silence. Four it have tried to reproduce a slide which has been devoted reflexion of concept of leadership: they have reproduced schematic figures of people in some colours, with pair vast signatures under each image up to that have tried to pass precisely all arrows, figures and colours. Meanwhile five intuitionalists have been occupied by that began to discuss the maintenance of a slide and to analyze its sense. The group not only was quickly convinced of that, slides how much have been differently interpreted, but also that, being are combined, these two reports have given more exact description of a slide, than each of them separately.
From this time the group was filled with determination to be trained in dialogue.
Among other exercises which we have offered them that day, there was following:
- Extroverts and introverts have asked to describe an ideal week end then neither nor others could not believe those in that, how much different their descriptions have turned out. It has helped them to be convinced that extroverts sometimes say too precipitately, unessentially that they think; they speak in such a manner that not always can (and not always should) to be taken at word. Further it has been noticed that introverts appreciate the personal space and are offended, when someone interferes in it — verbally, physically or visually.
- As inability effectively to resolve conflicts was a problem core, we have divided group into logicians and it, having asked those and others to make of definition to a word "conflict". And in this case results were written on the big sheet of a newsprint so that all of them could see. The definition given by engineers-logicians, hardly probable reminded what you can find in dictionaries, and it has been almost deprived those specific features which were applicable to their own conflict situation. In effect, their definition was reduced to the following: the conflict is that takes place, when counteracting forces face. As to it they have given to the task personal colouring: it seemed to them that we have intended this task specially for them to push them more effectively to cope with a conflict situation. Their definition of the conflict included only personal criteria: The conflict was for them something that could happen with them and that they preferred to avoid.
