Mine for my clever daddyThose who read my previous books, maybe, already know, how much seriously I concern idea of the career "mine-extension" one of which is described in aforementioned article. For those who did not read these books, I repeat: my clever daddy heading Department of education, has run into such extension when to it it was executed fifty. It seems, only yesterday there was a person formed, fair, hardworking and trying to improve an education system in the State of Hawaii. But here to it fifty, and it behind a board, without job and without skills of a survival outside of educational system. The brilliant pupil at school, it has developed for itself the magnificent formula of study, but this formula of a victory in study was not able to learn my daddy to a survival in the real world after its professional formula of a victory has stopped to work.
Persistent work on a blind-alley employment

This idea has become outdated for a long time. It belongs to a century of the industry. All problem that the majority of people which follow this advice, eventually appear at deadlock. They can have good marks in the sheet, the guaranteed, highly paid job, but all trouble that together with job you do not receive a ladder upwardit.
There are people who continue to drudge and not bad to earn, but their mind and a body groan for weariness, the enthusiasm has died away for a long time and there is no ladder to get out of a hated hole and to climb up upward. Somewhere on a way they have hooked on a mine-extension, but have not noticed it. Though they have not lost job or the business, but the ladder has upward disappeared. I have many acquaintances who well were in time at school, have entered postgraduate study and by forty years have achieved certain success. But then professional growth has stopped and slipping in anywhere has begun. I consider that in such cases the professional formula of a victory has ceased to work, because the victory formula in study too has sputtered out. In other words, my acquaintances continue to use the old formula of a victory in study, and this formula interferes with achievement of professional successes.
