The father always wanted, that we were among children carrying "white sports shoes". Looking at us, he knew that has achieved it. But he also felt small remoteness from the one whom we became. I remember day when showed to the father films with my football matches on the first and second courses which it has passed. I have called all friends who heard about my father, but never it met. The father has stayed with us of minutes 10, and then has told: "I should go".
To me it was sick that it has left so early. When I have told about it to mum, she has explained, he felt that should be on the screen. Looking back back, I understand that it managed to deduce us with the brother in a circle of children of usual Americans. And it in it degrees installed horror in its heart. He wanted, that ourselves went in crowd of children in white sports shoes, but he did not want, that we were bought on this myth. Our force that we felt comfortably in both worlds. We needed to have fighting spirit of street fighters and a lustre of corporate lawyers. He wanted, that we rotated in both circles, but never plunged completely into any of them. It began a dichotomy of my life — to feel comfortable in any circumstances, but always to be on some distance from my environment.
