FROM THE HOLE TO THE PERSONAL COMPUTER 229Cases when I moved the market were the culmination moments of my career of the trader on a floor, buying or selling with sufficient confidence that I can change a market direction. On the average I traded within a year 250 000 8&?-it=it=it. At a current face-value $250 000 theoretically it meant that every year through my hands passed actions in the total cost of $62,5 billion. But it is not enough of it. For me it meant much more, than simply trading floor or a broken line of dynamics of the market on the computer screen. Partially I realised it as the intellectual call thrown to me. As I already spoke earlier to be the successful trader, especially on a floor, you should become the robot. Than less you think and than operate instinctively more, your trade will be especially profitable.
Proceeding from the successes reached by me, some people look at me in confusion when I say that I consider myself underdeveloped. They look only at a material aspect of my achievements. I judge myself far not only on the money made me. I have thrown down to trader Borselino a challenge concerning the further development, having accepted the technology deprived of some advantages that with advantage to meet future exchange changes. Personally I am aimed at reception of return which is beyond purely monetary.
Speaking to words Pogo1, I have faced a call, and I have appeared this call.
The last year in literal sense has appeared year of travel. I have visited Paris, London, Madrid, Monaco, Zurich and on Bermuda, extending a message about new fund — "Borsellino Capital Management". I have begun it in December, 1997 when we with my partner, Edward of R.Velaskezom the Second, have gone to Spain, and then to London. The trip purpose — search of potential managers for offshore fund which we planned to open, and also preparation of presentations of our company.
From London we have gone to Paris where in cafe on the Yenisei fields "Borsellino Capital" became a reality when we have received first million dollars in management. It is a major landmark, but it was obvious, what is it the beginning only. We have returned to Europe in February 1 Pogo (Pogo - an opossum) - the character it; it is created in 1990 At Kelly - "a reasonable, patient, friendly being what all of us to ourselves seem". - the Comment it.
