Laser printer is one of the types of computer printers, allowing you to quickly produce high-quality prints of text and graphics on plain paper. Color Laser
The principle of multi-color laser printing technology is as follows. At the initial stage of the printing process rendering engine takes a digital document and processes it once or several times by creating a page-bitmap image. At the second stage, a laser or an array of LEDs creates a charge on the surface of the rotating photosensitive drum, like the resulting picture. Charged laser-fine particles of toner, which consists of coloring pigment, resins and polymers, are attracted to the surface of the drum.
Then through the drum rolled paper, and toner is transferred to it. In most color laser printers use four separate passes, corresponding to different colors. Then the paper goes through the "stove", which melts the resin and polymers in toner and fixes it on paper, creating the final image.
Lasers can be precisely focused, resulting in very thin beams, which recharge areas of a photosensitive drum. Consequently, modern laser printers, both color and black and white, have higher resolution.
Typically, the resolution in black and white printing ranges from 600 x 600 to 1 200 x 1 200, but the color resolution of up to 9 600 x 1 200. Color and black and white laser printers work in practice the same. The difference is that for color printing uses four types of coloring toner: CMYK. Any color is making its contribution to the final image, affixed on a sheet of paper. Compared with inkjet printers, laser has many advantages.
