Deviation

Some more days - and we will leave this strange place between a planet and Io, a place of our appointment to the huge artificial object which received from us a name the Big Brother and then has suddenly disappeared. Where it has got to and why - anybody does not know.
For some reasons our further stay here is undesirable. We start on two weeks earlier, using the American ship "Diskaveri" for Soviet "Leonov's" the dispersal. The basic idea is simple. The ships will be connected. At first "Diskaveri" will burn the fuel, then will separate, and engines "Leonovs" will join. And we use one more idea at first sight deprived of sense. To leave from Jupiter, we should approach with it as much as possible. Almost the same as was at braking.
At first we will dump speed, and the circular orbit will turn to an ellipse, almost concerning planet atmospheres. Then, in its lowermost point, we will burn all fuel, and "Leonov" leaves on a flight trajectory to the Earth.
What for such manoeuvre was necessary? I will try to do without mathematical calculations. Having gone deep into a gravitational field of Jupiter, we will gain additional speed and additional energy. "We" are our ships and fuel in their tanks. Fuel will be burnt at bottom of "gravitational mountain", it will not be necessary to spend energy to drag it on top. Thrown out of our reactors, it will give to the ships a part of the kinetic energy acquired at descent. Power of Jupiter, thus, is used twice - both at arrival, and at dispatch, - and Mother Nature not so often allows the such.
