Routine and creativityExperience of dialogue with people has convinced me that when people transform the job into purely mechanical routine, they lose feeling of prospect and are not capable to distinguish important from the insignificant. They without need spend a lot of time for minor affairs and leave many important issues not finished. Often such style of job leads the person to self-damage. The more the person puts efforts, the more it exhausts the forces, and the is more strongly exhausted, the efficiency of its activity more decreases. An exit not in putting it is more than time in this or that business, and in working more effectively.
My formed, but the poor daddy never felt sorry time for performance of the official duties, as the head of department by training. He was late often, took job on the house. Both to my brothers and sisters it was very a pity to me that it does not have time for dialogue with us. I heard often from it words: "I will come today late", "At me it is a lot of job", "I should prepare all these papers for a weekend". It was the employee betrayed to the business, but its family suffered from it.
That speak before death
The lesson about job and about rest with the family was one of lessons of my rich father. He spoke about it: "I do not know any person who on the deathbed would regret that it has spent not enough time at job. Usually people were sorry about that small quantity of time which they could spend with a family, the friends, close people". If it is more important, why when you still have time to plan the life so that in the maximum measure to take pleasure in its those instants which bring to the person true pleasure.
To my friend has helped
I recollect one my school friend - the architect whom we have met also it have complained of excessive job and absence of pleasure in a life. He has just recovered after an attack of a stomach ulcer and again worked for 60 hours per week. He complained that it does not have not enough time for more to be with the wife and children.
